We carry on campaigning for a People's Vote
Slough Lib Dems are carrying on campaigning for a People's Vote. Slough Lib Dems joined in the display of 600 Brexitometers outside Parliament on 5 Dec. Across the country campaigners have been giving residents' in their towns the chance to say how they think Breixt is going, and whether the People should have a say on the final deal. Bringing them all together was a powerful message to MPs that the People want a vote on the final Brexit deal, with an option to remain in the EU.
When Slough Lib Dems took the Brexitometer to Langley and Farnham Road the results were similar to those across the country with residents saying they did not think Brexit was going well and they thought Brexit would be bad for the NHS and for the economy. They also strongly supported a People's Vote.
Local Lib Dem Josephine Hanney has also recently continued the campaign of letters to the local papers explaining why the Lib Dems think the People should have a Vote on the final Brexit deal, with an option to remain in the EU: Slough residents want a People's Vote
