Cippenham needs councillors who listen more to local residents

This is the message in Robert Plimmer's final letter to supporters in Cippenham in the run-up to the Slough Borough Council election on Thursday 5th May. He is asking residents to vote for him to become a new councillor in his home ward of Cippenham Meadows so that the area's voice can be properly heard on Slough Council.

Robert highlights that many people are upset because the Labour councillors running Slough Council do not consult properly before making mistaken policies such as unwanted traffic schemes that often waste money.

In the letter Robert also sets out some of the range of local issues on which he's been successfully working for local residents. And that he's been keeping in touch with the Cippenham Focus newsletters. He reports more findings from the survey of local residents he's just started in Cippenham. It shows overwhelming support for his criticisms of Slough's Council.

Finally, Robert also reminds supporters that when he was previously a councillor for Foxborough Ward he had a successful record in promoting community safety and Fair Trade, and protection for the environment.
