After a successful Lib Dem campaign Robert Plimmer increased his share of the vote in Cippenham Meadows by 50% in the Slough Council election on Thursday 3 May.

This increase in Robert's support was enough for him to overtake the Tory candidate and storm into second place.

Many residents said how much they appreciate the hard work Robert does in Cippenham throughout the year. This is often based on Robert and his Lib Dem Focus team listening to the concerns of the local community, and also developing positive policies on issues such as health and housing for the whole of Slough.

Full result: Lab: 59.6% +8.6%; Robert Plimmer, Lib Dem: 21.7% +7.4%; Conservatives: 18.7% - 5.2; UKIP: 0% - 10.7%.
