Bruce Close Utility Box reported by Cippenham Lib Dem Focus team 29 Jan 2020

Robert Plimmer and Matthew Taylor have been campaigning in Cippenham for several years to persuade Virgin Media to repair or replace the many unsafe and unsightly utility boxes that are open and the contents exposed. Robert said:

"As Matthew and I and other team members go around Cippenham Meadows ward delivering the Focus newsletters we look out for any boxes that need attention. We immediately report them, and call for action to deal with the problem.

There have often been long delays before Virgin Media respond, but things have really speeded up recently. Previously we had some successes, for example in Frogmore Close and Flamborough Spur, but now we've found most of the ones we'd previously reported have been made safe, if not replaced.

Then on 29 Jan 2020 I reported this box in Bruce Close, and when I checked again on 02.02.2020 it been repaired."
