GAZA: Lib Dem MPs Layla Moran & Sir Ed Davey speaks out strongly against Trump's plan

Layla Moran, Lib Dem MP for Oxford West and Abingdon, has a Palestinian mother and a British father. As soon as she heard about Trump's plan for the USA to take over Gaza she immediately strongly oppose his plans. Layla said:

"Trump has clearly not spoken to a single Palestinian about this plan. Gaza is our land. Palestine is our home. Peace cannot come at the cost of our country.

I urge the UK and the whole international community to resist him. 

Recognise Palestine now, before it's too late"

Then in Question Time in Parliament, on Wednesday 5th Feb, Sir Ed Davey, Lib Dem leader, asked whether the PM recognised how "dangerous" US President Donald Trump's statement on the forced removal of Gazans was to the tentative ceasefire in place.

Ed Davey called on the PM to reiterate to the White House that the UK is committed to a two-state solution.
