Sukh Dhillon says, "On the important issues of foodbanks, I'm pleased to be one of the Slough Lib Dem candidates who have pledged our support to the work aimed at ending the need for #foodbanks in our community.

If elected on 6 May, we shall be in a stronger position to do this. We believe that together we can build a #HungerFreeFuture @TrussellTrust

Sukh also added, "at a personal level, I was pleased to be part of the effort by my local cricket team that was able to support Slough Foodbank. We had originally raised cash to provide snacks for NHS staff at Wexham Hospital dealing with the worst of the pandemic. Because of the generosity of local people we exceeded our target. We were pleased to be able to donate the surplus to the Slough Food Bank, which even more people are sadly being forced to rely on during the pandemic to feed their families."
