Liberal Democrats have scored another by-election victory. This time our team in Amersham, Buckinghamshire gained a Council seat from the Tories by 4 votes. Widely respected Liberal Democrat Vera Head was elected. Labour had a disastrous result coming last behind UKIP.
This follows just a couple of months after the Liberal Democrats gained a seat from the Tories in nearby Hazlemere, Buckinghamshire.
